About Pilates
We offer Pilates equipment classes for a maximum of three people at a time. We use the Reformer machine, Stability Chair, and other small props for a full-body workout. Modifications to the exercises allow for a range of difficulties ranging from beginner to advanced level. Pilates focuses on the deep postural muscles to build “core strength”. Body awareness and proper breathing are essential and help you execute movements with maximum power and efficiency. By developing proper technique, you can actually re-train your body to move in safer, more efficient patterns of motion – invaluable for injury recovery, pre- & post-natal fitness, sports performance, good posture, and optimal health.
